We are pleased to share that GovContractPros is expanding with three new senior consultants. Joe Jordan, Diana Domenech, and Sandra Clifford collectively bring over 50 years of experience in federal procurement, supplier diversity, and Small Business Administration (SBA) programs to our clients.
Joe Jordan is an experienced federal procurement leader with a demonstrated history of successfully steering organizations of all sizes, ranging from startups to agencies of the U.S. Federal Government. Joe served as the Senate-confirmed Administrator of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy for three years, where he was responsible for setting and implementing government-wide acquisition policy. Prior to that, Joe served as Associate Administrator of the Office of Government Contracting and Business Development at the U.S. Small Business Administration. He worked with Congress to craft the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010, which President Obama signed into law on September 27, 2010.
Joe is a widely recognized federal procurement expert, with experience testifying before Congress on federal contracting policy matters. Joe has advised a diverse set of small businesses looking to better work with their agency customers, large organizations who want to find and develop small business partners, and federal agency leaders looking to increase positive and innovative outcomes.
Prior to joining the GovContractPros team, Joe served as CEO of artificial intelligence company Supplier.ai. Before that, he served as CEO of the leading online e-commerce marketplace, FedBid, before selling the company to Compusearch Software Systems in 2017. Before joining federal service, Joe honed his expertise in strategy and operations at McKinsey & Company. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree from Holy Cross and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School, where he was a Shermet Scholar.
Diana Domenech is a proven professional in leading organizations, influencing groups, and developing people and businesses. She joins GovContract Pros with more than 20 years of experience in the private sector, having worked up the ranks in the banking and insurance industries. She most recently served as Head of Sourcing Process, Technology, Governance and Risk at AIG. In that role she led special sourcing programs such as Supplier Diversity and Sustainability. She previously held roles at AIG in supplier relationship management and transformation.
Prior to AIG, Diana spent 14 years at JPMorgan Chase where she was Vice President of Supplier Diversity, responsible for leading the company global efforts for the $3 billion+ program. She also held various roles at the bank in operations, and before that was trained as an underwriter for the Executive Protection Practice at Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. Diana holds an MBA from NYU; B.S. from Cornell University; certificate from the University of Granada Spain; and is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. She currently serves as the Chair Emeritus of the Financial Services Roundtable for Supplier Diversity and brings other experience serving on nonprofit boards and working with Supplier Diversity and advocacy organizations.
Sandra (Sandi) Clifford is an accomplished and experienced public servant with over 15 years of experience in various state and federal government positions. In addition to her work with GovContractPros, Sandi currently serves as the Director for Procurement of Harford Community College in Maryland. Prior to these roles, Sandi was the Deputy Director of the SBA’s All Small Mentor-Protege Program (ASMPP). Sandi ascended to that role after providing essential contributions to the launch of the ASMPP via a detail from her position as the Lead Business Opportunity Specialist for the 8(a) Business Development Program at the SBA’s Baltimore District Office. As Lead Business Opportunity Specialist, Sandi oversaw the ongoing growth and compliance efforts of the Baltimore District Office’s 8(a) Program Participants.
Prior to joining SBA in 2015, Sandi worked in the Maryland Attorney General’s Office for 10 years and then with the Maryland Department of Transportation and the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Sandi is an attorney by training, who graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a B.A. in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate from Touro Law School. Sandi is married with one son and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
